All about Debbie

With 20 plus years experience as a Specialist Adolescent Counsellor Debbie has built a knowledge in understanding the challenges young people face today. This experience helps her to work alongside young people helping them to navigate through the most difficult and testing circumstances they face in current times. Debbie's career spans across working in schools, Connexions, young peoples support agencies, outreach work in the community and in private practice.

She currently manages a large school foundation counselling service supporting the pupils, staff and parents. Her work involves working alongside multi-agency professionals to ensure best outcomes for her clients, including CAMHS, Social Services, health professional and the court/legal services. This multi-agency working has given her an understanding and insight that has allowed her to help clients access  and gain understanding in what can be a complicated process when dealing with these potentially daunting situations.

Making the first all important contact

Debbie's clients include adolescents, parents, and adults. She offers face to face counselling and online Zoom and telephone sessions. Making contact is easy, simply call, text or email to make that first contact. We can arrange a call to discuss what you want to get out of Counselling and if you are happy to continue we can make that first appointment. We are very aware first appointments can be daunting, and therefore we offer flexibility in addressing the needs of our clients to get through the door to that first appointment.
